Monolith Kicks Off New Project in Portsmouth, New Hampshire

Monolith has kicked off the renovation of a Hampton Inn in historic Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The renovation will include guest rooms, corridors, and a Perfect Mix Lobby. Monolith will be acting as designer, FFE purchasing, installer, and renovation contractor. Guest rooms will also receive Hampton’s Standard Serenity scheme. The Perfect Mix Lobby will receive a customized design package by Monolith Design Group. Monolith will be supplying all the lobby casework including registration desk, community table, coffee station, focal wall, and buffet cabinetry. Inspiration for the design was drawn from the local history and seaside community of Portsmouth. Completion of this renovation is set for January 31st, 2012. Stay tuned for updates and photos.

Monolith launches design of (2) Hampton Inn Perfect Mix Lobbies

Monolith recently began the design for (2) Hampton Inn Perfect Mix Lobbies. The Hampton Inn in Portsmouth, NH will receive the Serenity Scheme package in the rooms and corridors, with a custom design for the lobby & public areas. Because of the history of the city and the location on the water, the property will receive accents of local interests along with a color scheme based off the New England local decor. The Hampton Inn in Mebane, NC will also receive a custom lobby design package including a new furniture style registration desk, community table, market, buffet area with movable doors, banquette seating, wood-look floor tile, and carpet inlays. MONOLITH COMPLETES DESIGN OF HAMPTON INN LANDFALL – WILMINGTON, NC AND BEGINS RENOVATION

Monolith has recently completed the design of the Perfect Mix Lobby for the Hampton Inn Landfall in Wilmington, NC.  The hotel will receive a custom Perfect Mix Lobby makeover designed around the “Cape Cod” feel.  All new wood-look flooring, millwork, sliding buffet doors, bar, furniture and finishes will give this property a much needed facelift.  Also included in the scope will be all new corridor finishes and brand new bathrooms including vanities, king shower conversions, tile, wall vinyl, mirrors, and sconces.

The renovation will be completed by the end of May 2010.  We can’t wait to finish this Hampton Inn and Suites renovation and see the final product!
