Monolith completed the renovation of the Homewood Suites in Pinehurst, North Carolina in the winter of 2011. Monolith performed all of the Interior Design Services, brand submittals to Hilton, FF&E Procurement, Renovation Construction, Custom Millwork, and FF& Installation services. Acting as the turnkey renovation firm, Monolith transformed the Homewood Suites from a tired, forgotten hotel to a destination for golfers from around the world. Receiving all new finishes, granite countertops, paint, wall vinyl, FF&E, and a custom millwork package for the lobby, this property stands above the rest in its market.

Monolith Completes Renovation in Wall, NJ and Receives Accolade From Marriott Corporate Trainer
Wednesday, March 28th, 2012Just before completing the renovation of the Courtyard Marriott in Wall, New Jersey, our very own project manager Brett Duke received the following email from the Marriott Corporate Trainer:
“Hi Brett! As we get closer to the Re-Opening of the Courtyard Wall, (New Jersey) I wanted to reach out to you and let you know how FANTASTIC it has been to work with you and your team this week. I have re-opened 46 Courtyard Refreshing Business hotels in the past 2 years and can honestly say that my experience here has been top notch. Your efforts and contributions have been instrumental in allowing me to focus on training the staff and tend to all the other little issues that inevitably come up during a renovation. I can not say enough wonderful things about my experience working with you so please forward this on to your direct supervisor as they are very lucky to have you on board. Thank you again!”

The lobby received all new FF&E, vinyl, wood look tile flooring, registration pedestals, focal wall, community table, S bar, media pods, go board, business center, market, theatre wall, coffee station, quick print, fitness center equipment, and more.
Monolith Completes Renovation of Hampton Inn, Portsmouth Virginia
Monday, February 20th, 2012Monolith has wrapped up the renovation of the Hampton Inn in the seaside town of Portsmouth, New Hampshire leaving the hotel’s lobby, guestrooms and corridors with a fresh new look. Monolith’s Interior Designer, Amber-Rhiannon Gibson drew inspiration from walking through Portsmouth’s historic town square. The old painted brick buildings, the quaint stone streets mixed with the bustling local coffee houses and boutique art shops inspired her to carry on this theme inside hotel. The eclectic mix of old and new seen throughout the town of Portsmouth was translated into the décor. The lobby design incorporated custom historic framed photographs, aged wide plank flooring, classical tufted sofas and wing-back chairs combined with modern fabrics and finishes. Using these unique elements along with the core elements of the Perfect Mix created a timeless design.
Monolith Completes Design Development for Courtyard-Embassy Row
Tuesday, February 7th, 2012Monolith Interiors Group has recently completed design development for the lobby renovation of Courtyard—Embassy Row. With the White House and countless other national landmarks located mere footsteps away, this beautiful downtown property will receive a completely custom take on the Refreshing Business Lobby worthy of its posh location and historic architectural features. High-end design elements created specifically for this hotel—such as an illuminated, floor-to-ceiling glass mural, leather mosaic walls, and custom lighting fixtures—will emanate modern elegance. Team Monolith will also be overseeing the procurement for this job, and construction is slated to begin in July.

Wednesday, December 28th, 2011Monolith has recently completed a conversion of a long-standing Country Inn & Suites to an impressive new Fairfield Inn & Suites in Memphis, Tennessee. Monolith was responsible for all the exterior & interior renovations. With an all new EIFS system, new porte cochère, Green Tea Lobby package, renovated fitness center, and all new guest rooms and corridors; Monolith put this property back on the map. Monolith also handled all the FFE install, door replacement, granite tops, bath & shower surrounds, tile, carpet, vinyl, paint, etc. Check out these pictures of the amazing transformation!
Monolith Kicks Off New Project in Portsmouth, New Hampshire
Wednesday, October 26th, 2011Monolith has kicked off the renovation of a Hampton Inn in historic Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The renovation will include guest rooms, corridors, and a Perfect Mix Lobby. Monolith will be acting as designer, FFE purchasing, installer, and renovation contractor. Guest rooms will also receive Hampton’s Standard Serenity scheme. The Perfect Mix Lobby will receive a customized design package by Monolith Design Group. Monolith will be supplying all the lobby casework including registration desk, community table, coffee station, focal wall, and buffet cabinetry. Inspiration for the design was drawn from the local history and seaside community of Portsmouth. Completion of this renovation is set for January 31st, 2012. Stay tuned for updates and photos.

Monolith Completes Courtyard Refreshing Business Lobby
Tuesday, September 27th, 2011Monolith is wrapping up our 12th Courtyard Refreshing Business Lobby Renovation at the Courtyard by Marriott Round Rock – Austin, TX. Monolith acted as the renovation General Contractor as well as manufactured the custom millwork & Corian package for the property. This renovation took 8 weeks, and received all axe minster Tai Ping carpet, FF&E, vinyl, wood look tile flooring, registration pedestals, focal wall, community table, S bar, media pods, go board, business center, market, theatre wall, coffee station, quick print, fitness center equipment, and more. We hope to complete roughly 20 Courtyard renovations in 2012!
Monolith Completes Renovation of Doubletree Hotel in Charlotte, NC
Friday, September 23rd, 2011Monolith completed the renovation of the guestrooms and corridors in the summer of 2011. Partnering with some of the industry’s most highly regarded firms, Monolith was able to completely transform the hotel’s guest experience. Managed by Hilton, designed by Stonehill & Taylor, FFE purchasing by Carroll Adams Group, and construction by Monolith.
The guestrooms received an all new Casegood package from Klem Hospitality, carpet from Signature Hospitality, all new finishes, bathroom vanities by Five Star Architectural, and an overall complete facelift. This Doubletree is ready to compete with all of the full service hotels in the area!

Tuesday, September 20th, 2011To honor our partners at Hilton Worldwide, as well as some of our top clients at Concord Hotels, Island Hospitality, and Sree Hotels, the Monolith team hosted a sunset cruise during the 2011 HD Boutique Show in Miami, FL. As we cruised along the breathtaking shore line of Miami, everyone had a wonderful time of relaxation and conversation. It was a pleasure getting to know everyone and furthering our relationship with each and every attendee. Monolith would like to make this an annual event.
